Why is my conservatory so hot?
The direct intensity of the sun enters via the roof, including conservatory roofs. Adding solar control glass or film will reduce the heat gain but is unlikely to be sufficient in the middle of summer and will not stop the glare. However, you can retain most of the benefits of a glass roof but control the heat and glare by adding sail blinds to the most exposed areas.
